Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 June 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and WeekWell. We've kept them in plain English so you can actually read them.

The basics

WeekWell is a household meal-planning service operated from the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use WeekWell.

What WeekWell is

WeekWell helps households plan meals, generate recipes and build shopping lists. It is not a medical service, a nutrition service or a food-safety service, and it doesn't replace professional advice.

Your account

  • You need to be at least 18 to create an account.
  • Give us accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in details private — you're responsible for what happens on your account.
  • One account per person, please.

Using the service

You agree not to:

  • Use WeekWell for anything illegal or harmful.
  • Try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.
  • Abuse other users, our team, or the service itself.
  • Work around usage limits or share an account with people outside your household.
  • Resell or redistribute generated plans and recipes as your own product.

Household and member data

You're responsible for the information you enter about the people in your household. Only enter details about children or other family members if you have the authority to do so.

AI-generated content

Plans, recipes and suggestions are generated by AI. They are helpful, but they can be wrong. Always:

  • Read recipes through before cooking.
  • Check ingredient packaging — especially for allergens.
  • Cook food to safe temperatures.
  • Use your own judgement on portion sizes and freshness.

Food safety and allergy disclaimer

WeekWell is not a substitute for professional dietary, medical or food-safety advice. If anyone in your household has a serious allergy, intolerance or medical condition, please consult a qualified professional and always verify ingredients yourself.

Subscriptions, billing and fair use

Some features may be offered on a paid plan. If you subscribe, you'll be billed on the cycle shown at checkout. We may apply fair-use limits on AI generation to keep the service reliable for everyone. If we change prices, we'll give you reasonable notice before the change takes effect.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a paid plan at any time. Refunds will be handled in line with your rights under UK consumer law.

Your content

You keep ownership of the household information, preferences and feedback you enter. You give us a limited licence to store and process it so we can run the service for you.

Our content

The WeekWell name, brand, software and underlying systems belong to us. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them within the service for your own household.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put the service or other users at risk. You can close your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us.

Availability

We aim to keep WeekWell available and working well, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance, outages and bugs happen — we'll do our best to keep them rare and short.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeekWell isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for things that can't be limited under UK law — such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

Changes

We may update the service and these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top and, for meaningful changes, let you know in the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
